A Thymer is a user who is adept in Phun's scripting language, Thyme. Thymers use OnCollide scripting and console commands to create scenes that stray from Phun's Physics based fundaments, but their scenes are always true to the "Sandbox" theme in which you can create anything you can imagine. Thyme is Phun's answer to "high-tech" devices, such as range finders, gyroscopes, tachometers, and other sensor devices that can't be recreated easily and efficiently with Phun's object based physics engine.

Thymers were on the forefront of the Robotics Revolution which took place in the weeks and months after beta 5.28 and thyme scripting were introduced. Though Thymers are a fast growing breed of Phunners, they are looked down upon by Phundamentalists - users who respect mechanical scenes true to Phun's origins.
