The off topic forum was closed and archived in 2008-08-27 by the phunland team. In the annoucement ken said.

"Dear friends of the Phun community,

We have been monitoring the off-topic section of this forum for quite some time now. The combination of too much flaming and noise, with the fact that the content is only relevant to a tiny fraction of the forum users and phunland vistors, have finally lead us to the decision that we are now closing down the off-topic section for new posts. This section will eventually be hidden and/or removed completely.

Discussions that are not directly related to Phun can be held in the General Discussion section. However, the general discussion doesn't allow for off-topic posts not considered relevant to the Phun community and of course not for noise, flaming, or spam.

Please help us making the Phun forums even more useful to the Phun community, by posting relevant questions, suggestions, answers, advice and comments that relate to directly to Phun, the usage of Phun, or other topics that are of general interest to the Phun community.

This lead forum member JRV2005 to create "The new unoffical off topic forum" And many users now post there regularly and complain about the removel of the off topic forum.
