Animation Collab

let's make an animation collection!
here's an example.

Title: Animation Clip
File Size: 2.04 MB
Rating: http://www.phunland.com/phunbox/rating/19651

i've already seen some simple ones around, but now I'm talking about real (and funny) GIF scenes.
I've used GIMP to dcompose the frames into many PNG mages.
Feel free to use my mechanism or any other.
Creativity on the film mechanism also counts, not only the content of the clip!

Good Luck!

EDIT: it'd be good if you posted ur scenes as scene responses to this one.

it's simple.
u can see there's a black plane on the left hand side of the frame hiding something.
delete it to see that each frame has something like a "tag"
what makes the frame vanish is a "killer" rectangle that touches the "tag" while falling at a constant speed.
get it?

Oh, got it. But, if we want that the animation have some more frames, we got to have a quite large image...?

One more thing: is there a way to make it loop?

EDIT:

Check this out. I reccomend you to subtract the simulation speed for 0.50 or something like that wink

i know itll hurt ur eyes but this is a more realistic way to do it, just needs little more presicion and more frames for each happening.

well, yeah... but u can use both sides of the frame, if u use more than one killer object (u have to time them right, of course).
or even use the same side of the frame with more than one row of tags, if u put them on different collision groups for different killer objects (or turn "no self collision" on)

yeah, i agree it's the most realistic way to do it so far.
nice one!
the film mechanism is important, but the content of the clip also counts.

It is looping and uses scripts to work

Re: Animation Collab

I think we should use 1 data point for a video.
That way we can view a video (n)wth lag.
