I don't know if this idea was already posted, but I searched for it and didn't find anything. sorry if I'm posting an old suggestion.
anyways, I think it would be cool to have fire in phun! you could set the texture of the fire to fit your grafics card. there should also be a button under the imortal button that says: burnable. if the button is checked, the object will be burnable! to make fire, you could just go to the geometry actions and click the brand new button known as "transform into fire"! also, it would be cool if you could put the fire out with water! and you could ajust how fast an object will burn! and you could ajust how much of the fire the object takes away. for example: if you make your own ice cube, you could set it so it will burn really fast and also take some of the fire away! after all, ice is water, and water takes away fire!
who's with me?!

And it could heat up water which would make steam which could be used to power a motor, or a generator to generate electricity (which would also be a great addition)

I'm surprised you couldn't find any threads suggesting fire, because it's one of the very common things people suggest.
I mean really, WHO DOESN'T WANT STUFF TO EXPLODE

This is something better suited to a sand game. Phun is a physics sandbox not an element sand box.
You can actually simulate elements with some hand if statements and a spawning codes
